In the days following Haiti's earthquake, it was difficult to
bring relief supplies to Les Cayes, because roads were
damaged.  In the photo, the Mission Aviation Fellowship,
a Christian service organization delivered emergency food
and medical supplies to Les Cayes. 

Donations by members of Redeemer to the Haiti Rector's Discretionary Fund helped pay the cost of delivering
emergency supplies from the airport to St. Thomas de
Mersan Episcopal Church.

Piloting the aircraft was John Pipkin.  John and Joyce 
Pipkin are members of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in
Columbia, South Carolina, and work closely with the
Church of the Redeemer when our representatives are
in Haiti.

In the photo, Pere Colbert Estil, rector of the Parish of
Les Cayes (including St. Thomas de Mersan) checks
supplies as they are unloaded.
